The Club was saddened to learn that Martin passed away unexpectedly.
Many will remember the great work Martin put into the life of the club whilst his Dan & Nathan were going through the Junior age groups – always willing to help set out matches and support the managers.
Wednesday of Cricket Week was always a special occasion when he and his wife, Kati, provided a fine lunch!
Martin was made a Vice President of the club for all his work – during Malcolm Couldrey’s chairmanship he was a great help and played a big part in helping the club succeed.
We were delighted to see Martin visit the club last season.
Martin was an active Darts & Poker player and latterly served as Secretary of Beckenham Social Club.
The Funeral will be Thursday 22nd June.
Service starting at 11am at Beckenham Crematorium.
The Wake Afterwards will be at Beckenham Social Club, on Churchfields Road.
