Under the management of Animesh, 2 teams were entered into the Youth Games Indoor Cricket for girl’s representing the Borough of Bromley.
The U13 placed third in their group and thanks to managers, scorers and the team which sported 3 Hayes girls: Mollie, Utkarsha and Sidhi.
A great effort girls! The U15 team served up a victory winning their competition! Team Leader Verlon said “The players themselves they were a brilliant bunch and a joy to work with and watch play. They sorted out everything amongst themselves from what they would do if they won the toss to who would sit out each game and even the batting and bowling order. Most importantly they cheered and supported each other as a team and that Team spirit as simple as it may seem, is what won them the Gold”.
The team had 4 Hayes players – Lydia, Aanya, Mila and Veronica with Lydia captaining the side.
