A promised break in the weather will see a weekend of cricket at Hayes as the 1st XI play on both Saturday and Sunday.
In an early test for the Premier League Champions, the reigning National Club Champions, Bexley, visit in a final pre-season friendly, ahead of the start of our league campaign the following Saturday.
The 2nd XI plays the reverse fixture at Bexley.
On Sunday we welcome Surrey Premier League side, Ashtead, as we enter the National Club Championship for
the first time in many years.
As mentioned, Bexley are the reigning National Champions, having won the Final in a thriller at Lords – can we emulate them!? Kent clubs have a good record in this cup – Both Bromley (featuring Hayes stars Migs Barbosa & Grant Sheen) and Blackheath are recent past winners.
