The Kent Association of Cricket Officials are holding a couple of Umpire Introduction Courses – Wednesday 19th October at The County Ground, Beckenham (7:00pm to 10:00pm) and Wednesday 26th October at The Spitfire Ground, Canterbury (6:30pm to 9:30pm). Each course costs just £5.00, payable on the day.
Primarily aimed at players, parents of junior players, schools and complete beginners, this short three-hour standalone course will give any cricket enthusiast curious about becoming an umpire a taste for what the role entails, and outline what lies ahead, should they like to pursue their interest.
